MUSIC SOCIETY

The Melting Pot Music Society is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization based in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Our mission is to address social issues and bring people together using the arts, education, and entertainment. Some of the social issues in which our passions have directed positive and significant impact include:

Bullying
Domestic violence against women and children
Gang violence
Cancer awareness
Teen unemployment
Teen pregnancy
Youth professional development and career readiness
Youth Mentoring
Providing assistance to veterans that have struggled to find housing and employment
Providing relief and assistance to victims of natural disasters (Hurricane Florence & Hurricane Michael)

Since 2015, the Melting Pot Music Society has contributed over $62,000 to the community in support of the aforementioned social causes.thanks to our generous donors and supporters!

WHO WE ARE

Here’s a little bit about how we got started: In 2014, a small group of individuals that were passionate about being positive influences in the community decided that they needed to be more involved, and they followed their call to action.

While operating with the genuine intentions of bringing people together, serving others with integrity and dignity, and creating experiences where people could have amazing feelings of acceptance and belonging while supporting a great cause, the Melting Pot Music Society was born.

To help us with carrying out our mission, we have partnered with a number of organizations in various states to bring awareness to causes that have impacted our lives, that we are passionate about, and that align with our values as individuals and as an organization.

Beyond being involved and spearheading initiatives to address social issues through giving and various forms of programming, the Melting Pot Music Society has been fortunate enough to curate and create a number of events designed to bring people together of diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Each of the events are multi-genre celebrations that encourage and foster inclusion, diversity, live artistry, and creativity.
